Welcome to Tech On The Cheap.
I am Robert Curriden.
This wiki was started within a class on the uses of technology within the classroom, specifically concerned with media literacy and English and Language Arts Instruction, and is also paired with my blog on tech and the ELA classroom, Maelstroms of Verbiage, Labyrinths of Meaning.
As such, much of what is here is from the prospective of an ELA teacher. With that said, I intend this to actually grow as best it can to encompass tools I find useful, and more importantly, cheap, within my classroom. Eventually, I want to take full advantage of the collaborative nature of the Web, to generate a working list of new and better applications, resources, and outright education-based technological innovation for use in my own, and other's classrooms.

Great resources! Now, make sure you show how these tools will work with your students in your unit plan. Nice job.
